My old AquaticLife is similar to that but has more buttons. I assume I and II are the channels (actinic and white - 2 bulbs per channel) and the little LED there is for on/off for that channel. Mode should switch you between the 2 channels. You should select the channel you want, and hold the "set" button until you get a "start" time. Set the start time and then press "set" again and set the off time. If you press it again it will either take you to the 2nd channel settings automatically or you will have to hold the set button to apply your changes. You are going to have to mess around with it some sicne my light is different and has more buttons. Try holding set, mode, and both of them together to see what happens. You will have to set a start/end time for all your channels and also set the current clock time.
