Hi guys I'm looking for recommendations for lighting.. Tank will be roughly 48x30x30 so about 180 gallons. Hoping to keep SPS in at least the upper half and I'm almost positive I want some type of ATI T5 / LED hybrid.. Thinking an 8 bulb 48" with 2 center bulbs removed to add LED arrays? Looking at 4-6 AcroStar Mega4Z 20k Pro Blue (48W) pucks from blueacro.com for shimmer across the center. Would this be able to cover a 30 deep tank?

Has anyone used AcroStar pucks and do they work well? Also I was told I could get by with a 36" ATI fixture, does anyone have experience with this? Would it be sufficient?? I've heard all the arguments about light bleed but the tank will be built in since we are being forced to remodel the house so I'm not sure how much of a problem it will be.

If it were me I'd be doing an 8 bulb sunpower with sbreef actinic bars on front and back. I think you'll appreciate not having to lose two bulbs and the cost savings vs a powermodule (with arguably substandard LEDs for the price).
