Soon I will be getting a fully setup and established 78 gallon saltwater tank. In the picture of the tank which I will put below, you can see two viparspectra 165w lights, I am curious if this will be enough coverage over the entire tank and will be able to grow sps and lps with good coloration? Also if anyone can identify some of the livestock in the photo that'd be great thanks!

yes more than enough light, careful on settings!!..will help id ,but need closer pics ;)

question, can you raise the height of lights??poss another 6-8"?? will give better spread :)

For fishes, I'm seeing: from left to right - saddle puffer, possibly a Meiacanthus blenny, a whiteish variant of a clown, and Centropyge argi.

Corals: I'm just seeing green star polyps and red Discosoma mushrooms.

I'm not exactly sure yet since I don't know where it's going to go I've also only seen that picture of it

BRS d a great rundown on black box lights including viparspectra. Well worth watching. They recommend 18" mounting height.

there are a few threads on here recently also ,yes 16-18" gives you best coverage
