I have a Lineatus that thinks he is king of the tank. Only fish that may chase him once in awhile is a PBT. Never seems to be aggression but more boredom. I came home to the lineatus laying on the sand bed and looks fine visually. I removed the PBT and lineatus stayed on the sand bed and didn’t eat for a week. It’s been 2 more weeks and he is eating then going back to the sand bed.

I’m thinking he may have jumped and hit the lid on the tank and got injured.
Not sure what or if anything I can do to help him.

He is camera shyso hard to get pictures

Has the wrasse been checked for flukes? They can certainly weaken a fish. And some wrasses seem to be fluke magnets.

He was clean and fully quarantined. Had him 5 months. Not to say flukes are not in the system and I haven’t noticed yet.
Thanks I will check

He has been eating good and out swimming more. He seems to be Improving but only uses his tale fin when he must.

Almost sounds like you’re describing a spinal injury?
