I'm not talking about pH, which is very likely having spikes and falls. You are going to shoot your alk up really high, while calcium stays lower. Your are either going to/getting alk spikes, precipitation or a complete imbalance that will cause long term issues.

Some get upset when I say that but I don't say it to offend. The little I've learned in only two years is when folks say chasing PH can be a challenge, it really is. Some products work for some of us and if they don't, normally there are other products you have to use depending on what is causing the problem. The cause can be a number of things and you normally have to test to see what's causing it to really fix it. Some products may help temporally, if the benefits continue after a few months when you stop dosing, that's great.
