Pretty pleased with our latest purchase of an LTA :) my female was very pleased with the new addition-she's been begging for an anemone...aka wallowing on my hammer coral

Looks healthy to me-ate at the LFS... It's brown so I'm confident not a dyed anemone, but I wanted y'all's input.

Also, what is best material to use to cover intakes? It's done a little moving around so I don't want to make anemone soup out of my tank :)

UPDATE: bought this anemone 9/22...today 9/25 it still has not put a foot down and gets blown all over. I have gently buried it in the sand up to its spots several times in a few different locations. Its not long before its blowing around and ends up wedged suspended between rock and glass.
SO I got a small piece of PVC coupling, uncovered the glass on the bottom of the tank, put the anemone in the coupling (its large enough I can easily take it off once the anemone is attached), and turned off the filter & powerbeads.
I'm fine with the anemone moving and finding it's spot, but moving and being blown around are two separate things, right? Is there something else I should do? My clowns and I are already attached to the anemone and I'm worried that if I just let it float around it will get hurt on the rock.

They will find there happy spot just leave it be. iF If you are worried about getting sucked into intake you might cover with filter floss untill he finds a spot .

Ok Thank you! So even with his foot in the air and tentacles in a rock he is ok? He started drifting shortly after I turned everything back on. Here is where he is now:

The problem with nems is when they are removed from previous tank. If they don't take care when removing the foot gets a tear and it can damage nem. They are very delicate. Thats why you should let them find there happy spot and leave them alone.

Wish there was a bit more orange to the foot.

Is there any damage (( even the size of a pin head )) to the bottom of the foot ? (( usually right in the center )).

What size tank?
What lights? (( what lights was it under ))
How long has your tank been set up?
What are your current water parameters --- with numbers please.

It will be 2 weeks tomorrow and still wandering, though it DOES seem to attach and then just get unhappy and move elsewhere. It isn't hurting anything (other than driving my clowns nuts), but I'm still worried about it!

Trex, I can't see any damage to the foot, but it's white so hard to tell.

It's in a 4 month old Biocube 29. Not by my choice... long story short the husband has no self control and believes anything the LFS tells him :/ Lighting is stock (36 Watt Actinic Blue Straight Pin, 36 Watt 10,000K Daylight Straight Pin, 0.75 Watt Lunar Blue LED Bar)

Current water parameters:
Temp: 79
Specific Gravity: 1.025
Salinity: 33
PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 80 (Yup, water change will be done momentarily)
Calcium: 400
Alkalinity: 10
Phosphates: 0.5
