Hello,

I need help getting an ID on this stuff taking over my tank. I thought it was Dino’s but I can’t get an exact match on anything I have found here...but I am by no means a scientist or have much experience looking through a microscope. Attached is an image looking through 1200x zoom on a cheap microscope, however on 400x adjusted it looks about the same. Please let me know if you can ID this as I need to tackle this issue ASAP.

It is coating my Sandbed, rocks, and now my coral, very intense mucus strands, it does not seem to disappear at night at all and go into the water column. My nitrates and phosphates are reading 0 with my Salifert tests so I’m working on raising them just through additional feedings, turning off my protein skimmer, and removing my filter sock.

That is a tight packed mat!
Do they move? Could you shoot a video through the scope?
