I bought a live rock with cabbage leather and green stripe mushrooms already attached. The leather looks fine, but after about 5 days the mushrooms are still looking kinda droopy. Any suggestions?

2 much light?
Maybe, but I don't know. It's in a standard 55 gal with a 48" T5, one white and one actinic bulb. The rock is pretty low in the water (14"), so I figured that it would be ok. The shrooms are also on the side of the rock.

I'd attempt to get it out partially out of direct light.

I agree totally. I had the same problem with a really nice mushroom rock before. Too bad half the shrooms died before I eventually moved it under a ledge. The remaining shrooms came back and are doing well now.

I've put a piece of cardboard under the lights on that side of the tank about 4 days ago, seems to be doing a little better. Thanks for the help, will update again this weekend.
