why does my torch look like its dying I literally just put him in the tank 20 minutes ago

hi is normal just changing water acclimating ,show us a pic tomorrow ,looks like a nice one

Nice! Just so you know - the longer tentacles you see are called sweeper tentacles. They are used as the coral's primary defense against other corals and can easily extend at least 6" or so. Any other coral it can get to it will sting, and they tend to carry a pretty powerful sting! It will even go after other corals in the Euphyllia family (frogspawn and hammer being the commonly found ones). Give it plenty of room so that it doesn't kill any other corals and you will have a very nice specimen.
