I came home from work today and my condy isnt looking so hot, my wife said he was fine earlier but now he is balled up but doesnt have all of his tentacles drawn in, like i said he doeant look normal at all...is there any signs i should look for as to wether he is sick or dying? Also if it dies is my tank at risk? I tried to move him but he is still planted to the rock he is on

First.. Leave it in place and don't mess with it unless it starts to melt. (decay and loss of tentacles)
Is the mouth wide and gaping? It could be a sign of pooping also.

I would not try to move him especially if he's firmly planted (which is a good sign) - has he changed color? Can you see if the mouth is tight? anemones will inflate and deflate pretty regularly. A picture would help a lot.

Its hard to see what the mouth is doing because of its location in the tank but from what i can tell there is no tentacle loss and there is deffinately no color change

Its not the best picture but its the best i can do considering its location

Tanks been running about two years, water parameters are on point and i have a coralife setup with a ultra sun t5 and an ocean sun t5 that are both about 3 months old and ive had the condy for about 2 months

Condy are very hardy. I would watch for open mouth or deflation. Please post a pic so we can better assess him.

For now, just don't try to move him or anything. If he still looks bad in 24-48 hrs, let us know. Post a pic though if you can.

I posted one above...as i said its not the greatest because of the condies location he is at the back of the tank and i had to take it from the side

This one is a lot better...and i know this is off topic of my nem but yall please check out my thread about my clowns breeding lol

Yeah, he doesn't look good. Don't freak though, because that can change quickly. If he isn't inflated in 24-48 hours. He may need to be pulled and treated in HT. Keep us updated daily. We can give you instructions on treatment.

I fed him yesterday and he was just fine this morning and even this afternoon before i got home...i dont know what could have gone wrong

I dont have a hospital tank, the only other tank i have currently is a 5 gallon freshwater that i have my baby senegal bichir in

Run to walmart, and get a 5/g. $10

I live in Houston too. I have medication if he gets bad.

Thats the thing i have a 6 month old and dont really have the extra 10 to spend because i just started my new job at exxon mobil today and wont get a paycheck for two weeks, and im in pasadena by the way lol
