help with my first acans

i just bought my frist acan and had a few ? about them. i feed my fish with rods food do i still need to feed them? also i have read that the feed at night mostly but mine go in to the rock as soon as the light go off .

How long have you had them?

You do not have to directly feed them, but they will grow faster and IMO stay healthier if fed ever so often. Shoot some food in their tentacles once or twice every week.

I'm not too familiar w/ Rods food but I spot feed mine mysis on a regular basis, helps plump them up a little. Mine have learned to eat during the day but tentacles should come out at night. Give yours a few days to get acclimated and you should see the same behavior. Once you toss some food in they're sure to let their sweepers out.

they have been in my tank for 4 days now and feeding tentacles are out during the day most the time all day. and tank u rev
