So I’ve had this coral for about a month now and it has been receding a bit lately.

It seems to have some kind of algae growing underneath it, I tried a peroxide dip a few weeks ago and the algae seemed to go away but now I can see it coming back. My foxface does a good job keeping it at bay but it does seem to be bothered by it.

Also really unsure about placement. I have it on the sand bed indirect light and intermittent flow. Lights are AI hydra 26’s.

This is a piece of rubble from my sump, I removed the plug that it came in on but it looks like some algae from the glue on the plug made the transfer to this piece of rubble.
