Help with my sump level

hi could someone please tell me which level is best for my sump I bought this tank with a marker on it as you can see in the photoShould I keep it where it is or down to the maker ?

In YouTube videos it says to feel the sump level to maximum then turn the return pump on and keep it there this is what I have done

If the water level is above the glass baffles, it defeats the purpose of having them. The goal is to have the water move from one chamber to the next.

Fill the water to the top of the baffle in each chamber, then run the pump. Only the level in the chamber with the pump will change, when you do that.

Yup, water should never be above the baffles. And Your skimmer will never work properly with the water that high

I would go about 1 inch below the last baffle

It really depends on how often you want to change them. Smaller micron will clog more often and need replacement, but catch more things.

I usually run 200 micron, but switch to 100 micron if I’m taking pictures or have visitors or something.

Depends on a few things. Do you want to have to swap them out every 1-3 days, if so get a pile of 100-200. If you want to change them out every 7-10 days get 300 micron.

I always use felt ones

Or, if you're like me (and I'm not alone) you won't use a filter sock at all. I find them to be a PIA to change and clean. My corals seem to like the extra nutrients in the water that the filter socks would otherwise remove
