Help with my WD frag

looking for some advice with my WD frag... is it getting too much or it enough lights? Unfortunately I don’t have access to a par meter but working on getting one... running hydra 26 hd... first pic is when I got it (dark green) and then a recent pic (bright neon green) is much light bright green in person

looks like a new tank... what are you're nutrient levels and Alk, Ca, and Mg? In my experience the WD is super hardy, and I'm not sure it knows what too much light is. To pull the colors out you need to cook it!

Nitrates undetectable to been dosing stump remover to bring to .5
Phosphate don’t have a reliable test kit

Use a doser and 2 part to keep things steady and ato

Coraline algae is going and the frag is encrusting at a good rate

To me it looks like healthy. Just keep doing what you’re doing and watch it grow.

Polyp extension isn't necessarily indicative of health of the coral. If the colors look good, no tissue loss, and you're seeing growth I wouldn't sweat it!

Color changes are normal too, especially when going from one tank to the next. If it starts to brown or bleach then something might be amiss. Neon green on an sps can sometimes indicate too much light as the algae increases green to protect itself so maybe watch for that on new growth areas.

SPS especially can take months to acclimate to a new tank.
