Hi folks: my zoa is dying and falling of the rock. Its been healthy for months. I do monthly water changes, and everything else seems good . I have a little green algae. Any suggestions? Thanks

Not sure I see the dying. I see closed zoas. Anything can cause them to close. Also, you don't have anything oozing from them, which is a good sign. What kind of lights do you have and how high above the water surface are they?

Yes, they are closed and falling off the rock. There are 8-10 inches deep and I have ecotech led lights. The lights are probably 8-10 inches above the water. Why do you think they are falling off the rock? Thanks

What's your intensity set to? And how deep is your tank?

The lights are radion eco tech, and I set them to manufacturer recommendation for coral growth. low intensity for 2 hours, followed by higher intensity for 6 hours, back to low. The tank is 20 inches deep. I recently started using the Red Sea No3:po4-x to help control green algae- not sure if that's causing the problem.

Dosing could be the problem but you never answered my question. What is your light intensity set to? At full power the radions will fry your coral. What about any other coral in the tank?

I'll pull the settings up and attempt to match with your chart. But, everything else in the tank looks pretty good.

Depending on how high above the tank and your intensity, the graph shows the par. Typically, you wouldn't want "high" par. What gen are your radions?

Not sure what generation but Its an xr15w pro.
