Currently have a pair of clowns and added a leopard wrase with a flame back angel today. Within an hour the flame back has started to chaise the leopard wrase and clown fish. Is this normal? Any solutions? It seems the Angel has torn the fin of the leopared

Or a mirror on the outside of the tank. I use a mirror when ever I put a new fish in, they are usually too busy reacting to their reflection to notice the newbie in the tank.

How big is your tank? If you could take the angel out and rearrange some rocks giving the other fish time to establish territory. Or if catching it is too much a PITA then try rearrangingthe rocks at lights out and hopefully the angel will mark a cave as home away from the others. Again it depends on the size tank, flamebacks can be feisty for their size.

The flame back angel is the new fish that I added. He is attacking the the clown fish that have already been established in the tank for a while The wrasse and the angel are the new additions.

Angels are territorial, some more than others. If he is the new guy and he is acting aggressively, it will likely only get worse. Aggression is often magnified in smaller tanks.
