I’m in the market for a 48” tank. I’ve mainly looked at Waterbox 130.4 and Red Sea Reefer 425XL but my LFS is throwing out there a Visio 48x24x24 all around the same price point with stands, sumps, etc. Mainly had negative things on the Waterbox (broken when shipped, leaky sumps which concerns me more), neutral/positive on Red Sea (good customer service), and extremely positive on Visio due to the tempered glass bottom and ability to put the overflow wherever. Now, it’s going to be hard to find people that have experience with all three but just curious what the overall thoughts are? I was originally hoping for a Waterbox 130.4 but just want to make sure I’m doing my diligence here and have read much on Visio.

Since your LFS says the Visio is a great option, what sort of warranty will they give you on it?

Will see but haven’t heard yet. Difficult getting down there with my current workload.

Any thoughts on these three tanks from anyone? I think I have ready about every Waterbox 130.4 build thread and most Reefer 425 XLs. Would really enjoy hearing what people like, don’t like, thoughts on the sump.

I have a Red Sea Reefer XL200 and I like it. If I could go back I would go larger though. RSR 425 seems nice I'm looking into the 525 for future purchase.

I absolutely LOVE my Waterbox tank. I chose the Waterbox over the RS mainly because I liked the layout of the sump better. I do not have any experience with the Visio systems, but see them at many of the LFS around here and they look like nice systems. I don;t think you can go wrong whichever you choose.
