I am really struggling with some parameters. I am no expert reefer by any means. That tank has been set up for about 1 year and is a 90 gallon cube (at least that is what Planet call it). I have about 7 smaller fish and only a few LPS at this point. My Nitrates 0.0, Nitrates .007, and Phosphate 0.0. Not running a skimmer or reactor at this point. Only dose Calcium and Alklinity. Have been trying RedSea AB+ but it is not increasing these parameters. I get a light film algae on glass every day. No algae on rocks or sandbed really.

Any ideas what my next move should be?

Thank you so much for any input!

You said nitrates twice. Nitrites should be 0, if you have nitrites that could be a issue with your biological filtration.

0 phosphate 0 nitrate is not good.
You should get more fish and or feed more to get nutrients into the tank.
Or you can dose phosphate and nitrate. 0 readings are not good, you need to have some of each.

Most recomend .03-.08 phosphate and 5-10 nitrate. Nitrite should be 0.

A tank over a year old testing error is what jumps out at me as well .

there shouldn’t be any nitrites but if they are the nitrate kit should have given you a higher number , not usually lower .
