Long story short, I decided to give some long overdue love to my NYOS 220. THOROUGH CLEANING. How on Gods green earth do you get the impeller out of the pump housing? I did this last year and got to this step and blew it off at this point because I didn't want to break anything. I really want to give everything a good cleaning and get a good look at the magnet to make sure its in good working order. Is there some secret to releasing the impeller that I'm unaware of.

Any help will be appreciated

Quantum® 220/300: In general, we recommend you do not remove the hybrid wheel unit from the motor block. If it is necessary, then lift it carefully with two flathead screwdrivers on opposite sides. After cleaning, the unit must be inserted back into the motor block by applying some even but increased pressure. You can feel it when it audibly engages. Then, use a flathead screwdriver to lift the hybrid wheel slightly so that you have a space of approx. 2-3mm (1/12 in) between the hybrid wheel and the motor block.
