Help with overflow box

I have an Eshopps overflow box with two bulkheads and the two U tubes. The tubes keep getting air bubbles in them after a day or so. I’ve tried the lifter pump and it helps for a bit. I increased the flow to the tank and it didn’t really help as I’m still not getting enough water back to the sump. Now I can’t even get both tubes at full flow together. Think of switching to CPR.

Which CPR overflow would be best for my 120g and why?

CS90 - rated for 125g
CS100 - for 175g
CS102 - for 250g and has dual bulkheads

I will be getting a new sump and it will determine on the overflow.

Are you running the box with the black prefilter sponges? If you are, my guess is that they are clogging over the course of a few days and slowing down your drain flow, hence bubble build up in the u pipes. When I ran that style of overflow box, I ditched the prefilter sponge and replaced it with a Stockman Standpipe.

If using those prefilter sponges, you pretty much have to clean and rinse it out daily as they clog up very quickly.

Yes, I do have the sponges in there. I have a ton of GHA right now and noticed it was starting to clog. I cleaned them two nights ago and the flow was much better. Then last night and this morning much slower and the air bubble continues to get bigger. They don’t appear clogged though. I think I need to try that standpipe. Thanks!!
