Hi, does anyone know what these are commonly referred to as?

They've held this color for about 4 months.

Thank you in advance.

Scuba George, I think you need to take a breath and relax. The comment wasn't rude at all. There is a very common green paly, very similar to the photo you posted, that a lot of people do remove from their tanks because they tend to grow like weeds and aren't very attractive...

Tripping, most reefers I know consider brown button polyps a pest. Grows super fast and will sting other coral. Sorry if you felt like I was rude, I'm.not a rude person

i have alot of those theyy start out brown then get a nice neon green in the middle and they spread like wildfire

Now i feel I've been scammed by trusted local fish store, I'm pulling them. Sorry Nathan. I also have some brown fairy dust pays that have specs of neon pink on them but they have been growing fast too. Are these pests

I got these from reefer for a maroon clown trade. I'd be upset if he didn't give me my hybrid euphyllia

While I'm on the subject if a new polyp sprouts, should it be pink or would it come out the faded brown color Cause I'm getting growth but there brown.

Hey scuba its all good there not really pest, people just dislike the bland ,brownish green color. Most common wild Zoas are a bland brownish. With so many colors out there people rather see those. Also they grow like crazy. The more light the more color will come out normally.
