help with pest ID

I just noticed this pest about a week ago. Then today I noticed it on a zoa. Any advice on what it is and how to get rid of it? Thanks

Hard to see much in the photos. If your are talking about the curly white things they may be feather dusters forming.

If they look like moving green star polyps they are zoa eating nudis salifert flatworm exit as a dip will kill them, but not the eggs. Melevsreef.com has further instructions and he is also a sponser here. Good luck!

here's a slightly better pic. It's bowfront so it's difficult to get a good shot. The colony seems fine. It opens completely. I gave it a gently puff of water so it would close up to expose my concern. I know it's still hard to see. It looks like a cottony mass. Almost fungus-like. I saw the tubes nest to the colony and thought they it might be the same. Maybe not.

Yep it is a sponge. I have many in my tank and they do not harm anything.
