I added some about 15lbs of dry rock that I had soaked for probably 2 months and had it out for about another 2 months (trying to figure out how to set it up outside the tank).

I also added a gold torch that's been in QT for 3 months (wow - I've been lazy to put things into the DT... no wonder wife is mad :p )

Just got done putting it all in and I noticed three of these on the glass:

Never seen them before in my tank - they have a hard shell. I thought it was a flatworm from the torch - but the shell is throwing me off.

Ideas?

Thanks

You'll notice more. I pull some out of my reef and throw in with my triggers every couple of weeks.

I just came home to find this guy on my glass any help ID him. Is he good or bad? Thanks for any help?

It looks like an arm of Asterina sp., they have varied shapes, are generally harmless to the aquarium, although there are reports that some species can attack corals.

Best regards
