I am on month 4 of my tank and got corals about 1 month ago and added the AI prime 16HD at the same time as well. I also got all the test kits for alk, calcium, and phosphate. My phosphates were originally at .30 so I lessened my feeding and added chemi pure elite to my HOB filter. I will post my readings over the last week or so but ultimately I got it down to acceptable range. I then wanted to figure out a good feeding schedule around the phosphate levels so I started with pellets in the morning and frozen hikari shrimp at night. I have 4 fish (pair of clowns, chromis, fire fish) and 13 frags as well as 7 inverts (shrimp, snails, emerald crab) Yesterday my levels for phosphate were .02 and now today they are .00 and I’m not trying to get dinos so what should I do...?? Trying to do everything best I can, any help is greatly appreciated. I have some diatoms on my rocks and some brown hairy looking algae on the substrate and back wall so I’m not sure if those are taking up the excess phosphates and I’m okay or should I feed more? Dose something? Help please
