Help with Plumbing config on triton44 sump

ok so I have the synergy shadow overflow which is 1 1/2” PVC drain and the triton sump has 3x 1” drains. Is there any cons to not using the faceplate that comes with the triton sump and just hard plumping the pvc straight into the drain area below the water level? Or is it better to just use a reduced down from 1 1/2 to 1” ? I don’t know if my return pump size will matter but I have a various 8 return pump running two lines off the one pump. ( size of tank is 180)

No cons to taking off the plate besides cosmetics. I don't know how many gph you plan to run through the sump but if you drop to an inch each pipe can handle around 900gph (1800 total between the siphon and secondary drain) and 1 1/2" can handle roughly 2100gph per pipe (4200 between the two)

I am shooting for the 10x turnover all though I’m just worried if my pump can keep up with it split into two 1” pipes.

As long as you can get close it shouldn't matter to much. (the rate of turnover 8x, 9x, etc..)

I think I’ll just go with the reducer with that which reducer is better?

If you do the top one you will also need a coupling as the 1 1/2" side is actual pipe size.

The bottom one will will slip over both size pipes and make the install cleaner looking in my opinion and also one less joint to glue.

i would use the second one and put it right at the drain bulkhead thing to hide it as much as possible....reducers are ugly imo but necessary at times so it is what it is
