Hi, I am a complete beginner when I comes to reefing, i’ve had freshwater tanks in the past but have decided to take the plunge into saltwater, I have purchased a new tank which has 2 holes to drain into the sump, and one hole for the return. I live in the midlands in the uk so the only plumbing/diy shops I have local are B&Q, Wickes, plumb centre and city plumbing. I am after some help with the whole plumbing, I have no clue what to buy from bulkheads to pipes to fittings, and how it’s all put together!
All 3 holes are in the side wall of the tank near the bottom, behind a wier.
The two drain holes are 1.75inch
The return hole is 1.25inch
