Help with plumbing

Hello so I had plumbed my 40 orginally to feed into my five and skimmer chamber. Works well but now I have lots of gurgling coming from the refugium chamber any ideas?

This is a durso setup? If so, any adjusting would have to be at the overflow area in the tank and the first ball valve.

Ya it is a single drain durso

Was there a reason that you plumbed the return into two different chambers?
I see the ball valve is on the far end of the return to sump line so with there being no valve on the other side to that chamber it is going to push the back pressure to that area. If you can valve that off or cap that side you should be good.

Well I did that to send some flow to the refugium

Just send one drain to the skimmer section no need to T it off into the fuge section.
