I was looking around on the internet for what amount of light is best for your tank on certain lights and i couldn’t find anything for zetlight my current settings (which are all out of 32) are:
Dusk:
Whites - 1
Blue - 1
Violet - 1

Sunrise:
Whites - 10
Blue - 5
Violet - 28

Daytime:
Whites - 28
Blue - 28
Violet - 28

Sunset:
Whites - 15
Blue - 10
Violet - 30

Nighttime:
Whites - 2
Blue - 15
Violet - 2

All these settings are the factory settings apart from the blues at nighttime

What size tank ? Depth.
How high above the tank is it?

For a 12 hr photo period , Pick a 4-6 hr peak and start blue only. Add white to taste then back down after the peak.

Mix the color of the peak to your eye. It’s hard to do it wron except in extremes.

20,000 -35000 on 24 in deep tanks at the top of the water

My tanks is 3 feet wide 2 feet tall and 1.5 feet back and the light is about a foot above the tank and I have a 10 hour peak at daytime

Also do you know any low budget lights that would be good for a reef tank this size that would be able to keep most corals as I am looking to upgrade my light in a little bit as it probably is not good enough for the tank

I’d shorten the peak time to four or six.
Then, even though you can easily see the early and late blue only , it’s not blasting the coral.
Plus , you can maker adjusting later easier by only having to increase either peak intensity or peak time.

I mentioned 20,000-3000 lux at the top of the tank.
Your bathroom at night is likely well under 80lux.

why would you think it's not good enough??
Not even running anything at full yet....

Arguably close to an XR30 g4...in real output..
bit light at your depth but not horrible. Asking for more is asking for multiple units and of course cost..
I'd suggest adding light bars or t5's rather than a total replacement if you want more punch..

Thanks for that. Couldn’t find any specs a few months back.

you don't check BCAquaria???? snicker..

Anyways really needs updatesd data though going backwards in PAR would NOT be likely..
Here's something interesting:
https://aquarium-digest.com/2010/06/30/led-light-review-tmc-xg-1500-maxspect-more/#maxspect
Only lists it at 90W and 200-300PAR @ 8"
must be a single..
Review- Maxspect, iLumenAir, Zetlight
Maxspect Razor, TMC V2 iLumenAir, are all based on the same general basic build as the Zetlight Qmaven.

I’ll look in to putting adding a t5 fixture as well as the zetlight led

Lumens are just all the light coming out of a source..
Lux tells you how much if it (lumens) is falling on a certain area..

Hey I just picked up a used qmaven and replaced the boards in it and is working correctly but I don’t have an instruction manual and can’t find anything helpful online to figure out how to program the different times and dimming any help would be appreciated
