I have 2 xr30’s gen 2 abd 3 over a 90 gallon tank
I’m using the coral lab lighting template for mostly soft and lps corals 75 % intensity. I used a par meter to check the par and it’s ok but the tank just doesn’t look as good as I’d like in terms of the color of the corals and fish.
I’m wondering what others use for settings and how to incorporate more blue and colors that’ll bring out the corals colors as well as help them grow ?

I know this doesn’t help, but the way I got my corals to look great was to sell my Radions and get Noopsyche lights.

The lights are strong, turn them down, if you have to ask. way down! like 25% intensity to start. Your corals are telling you something

I had a big laugh at that statement.

I'll tell you right now, Noops are ok for those on a budget keeping basic softies and some LPS. They aren't 1/8th the fixture as a Radion.

Glad you like them.

To the OP, if you have the option, raise all the blue to 100% on the spectrum choices. The set your whites to about 30%. Add white for the look you want. Set your overall intensity to about 30% as you're going to fry your corals at 75% unless you have them mounted 24 inches above the tank

I’m using a par meter and the par doesn’t get high enough where my corals are to cause issues. I had it on around 40% and the par was barely registering 50 in most areas where I’ve placed the corals.
I’ll try

I’ll try
Raising the blues and dropping the white and intensity then check the par again
Thanks
The lights won’t turn on until 11am I’ll be home around noon1pm for lunch since most corals are near the bottom and sandbed I’ll have to trust they’ll be fine until I can drop the intensity.
Do I use the red or green spectrums at all ?

I was able to change it remotely this is the current settings running 11am to 8:45 pm, I’ll check the par when I get home
