help with radion xr30, mixed reef 55 gallon

hey, i have a mixed 55gal reef with 35gal sump. been running it for 6years with build my lights. one of the fixtures broke and i am trying to replace both of the old lights with radion xr30s. i downloaded the ecotech connection manager, updated firmware, then updated the apex and the wxm. then i attached the radions to the wxm. the tiles showed up in the dashboard but they both say missing. not sure if i need to remove my old lights from the apex and then they will work? not sure how to do that.
anyone have advice?

Do you have them plunged into an EB8 or EB832? If so, dont do that. 1) Its a waste of a controllable outlet and 2) they will constantly go missing.

ok i removed from the eb8. finally figured out how to get one of them connected to apex. but the second one doesnt connect. when i plug the second light in to power, no led lights on buttons and it does not connect to the computer.

Probably going to do a factory reset thru ecotech connection manager then reattach to apex

thanks, thats how i got the first one to connect. but the second radion doesnt even connect to the computer so i dont know how to do a reset.

Are you connecting to computer with the usb cable to light?

yes, i am going crazy trying to figure this out. the cable connects to the computer with one light but the second light doesnt connect to the connection manager. someone mentioned that the buttons might be disabled but how can i enable them if the light does not connect to the computer?

Check and see if connection port on light is clean and hasn't had salt creep in it
I had trouble with one of mine connecting and had to log off and on to and replug light several times before it connected

Not sure about your problem but go to eco smart live on utube and there's some vids that may help
