So my issue is that I have a radion Gen 3 on my 40 breeder tank and a Gen 2 upgrade to the pro on my sump. I want them to not be on the same channel. I'd like my display to do it normal 8 hour during the day and my sump to have the red light on for algae. Is this a possible thing to do? Every time I try to do them separately they sync back together...it's been a head scratcher to say the least.

Hi, Using the Ecosmart Live page set up a 2nd tank and put one light in each tank. You can name the tanks so Main Display and Sump and then you can custom schedule the Sump light for the Red spectrum. Can grab some screenshots if you need them. Ian.

Once you are logged on click on the 'Devices' Button and then 'Add Aquarium'. Hope that helps.

I tried that but they keep syncing to the same program. I wiped both lights and tried to set up again and they still sync after a few minutes.

hhhmmmm leave that with me... I am sure I have a member of my group running a multi tank setup.. Via Reeflink...

Just had another user confirm that a second tank added should let you control that tank on its own... Have to say I only have the one tank but would be willing tomorrow to split my lights and see what happens.. I am in the UK so you should log on tomorrow afternoon your time to see an update :)

Are you using a Reeflink to programme the lights or plugging them in via USB??

I was having a similar problem and even though I've seen supposed solutions posted by people on another forum, I did something different.
I have 3 gen 1 Radions over my 233 gallon mixed tank and a single gen 3 Radion over my sps/lps tank on the opposite end of my house. They are about 45' apart
Lately it seems like everytime I wanted to change the program on one, it would do the same on the other.
So I did the one program to the big tank, and then unplugged all 3 Radions. Left them off while I changed the program on the other tank.
Seems like a pain, but it's working and I don't have to call anyone or deal with peoples remarks about cost etc.

I tried to unplug one while I did the other but it still won't let me keep the red and uv on in my sump. It went back to a polyp florescent or whatever that custom template is. It is however running the right time setting just not the colors I want...and these I'm setting up on a USB not the reeflink

So its keeping time which means the lights are set up as two tanks then...

When you change the schedule points are you saving them afterwards? You move the power sliders up or down to get the spectrum you want and then you need to click on the Save button just below... Every point has to be saved before you change the next one if you don't save as you go it returns to its default setting as you move onto the next point... I would then save the whole profile and rename it 'Sump'. That way if saving the points as you go doesn't work the first time at least you haven't got to sit and do it all again you can just import the 'Sump' profile.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
