I picked up a acro colony and a few frags in a tank break down. The acro has/had nice color but no pe so I posted on a local fb page about it and was informed that I have red bugs. I qt the colony and frag in question. my plan is to dip the corals in interceptor and dose the qt tank as well. Now my question is do I need to dose my display as well. All of my other acros look great with lots of color and pe. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you

So I moved the colony and frag of this acro into my qt last night and when I turned on my lights this morning the colony had pe. The frag still doesn't though. Is it possible that just the frag is carrying the red bugs? My other acros in my display still look great with lots of pe.

How long were the pieces in question in your tank? I would just look really close at your other acros a couple times a day until you are certain that they are not hosting. Interceptor works but it will kill all of your crustaceans so if redbugs have been able to get to any of the acros in your display you probably want to have a place to hold any ornamental shrimp, hermit crabs, etc.

I agree with Tahoe. You should assume every acro has the red bugs. Also you should assume the display to be infested as well.
