Help with red sea 250 DIY refugium sump!

I got a 5 gallon glass tank and trying to make a refugium sump next to red sea 250 stock sump. My question is i need to put somekind of stand underneath so 5 gallon tanks height will be even with current red sea 250 sump. Other than making a diy stand, is there a way to raise it without spending alot of money? Im thinking of putting a brick but i need to raise 6 inch from ground. Thanks!
