Help with Reef in a jar.

Hi everyone, i am thinking of making a reef in a jar however to make it easy i am going to attack it to my 100 gallon reef tank however i am struggling to think of ways to do it.
It has a tap at the bottom although i dought that could work so will i have to drill a hole. I am going to have water pumped straight for a reactor into the jar it is only low flow.
Any ideas on how to make it work?

I think you are going to need a second hole drilled as well. You could have water enter from bottom exit the top.
