Help with return pump?

I think you are misunderstanding the post. Lower flow rates are better suited to your existing piping, but there is no way you are going to get more flow by turning your pump down. Is the issue the noise from the overflow or low flow. If it is the noise, it may just be that your overflow set-up is not the best. Are you running a Herbie or Bean Animal?

It is the noise from the overflow box that is driving me nuts , its a lifereef overflow.
Can't get water above stand pipe. If Cap the pipe off with my hand and raide the level it quiets down , until the level goes back down.

An open drain like that is always going to be noisy. Is that the only drain you have? The best approach is to have a separate primary siphon drain with a valve to throttle the flow and only trickle a small amount over the overflow (Herbie or Bean). If that is your only drain, the best you can do with it is to put a U-bend on top of it and drill a small hole in the top to make it a Durso, but there does not appear to be much room in that overflow for a U-bend. I would not try to increase the flow to quiet it down. That will be very difficult to balance the return and drain flows and you risk overflowing the tank.

That is the only drain , Yea don't think A ubend going to do it , I did order his silencer ,if that dont work may start looking at different boxes.

Judging from the web page, it looks like his silencer would work in much the same way as a Durso U-bend. It is not going to be absolutely silent, but it will be better than what you have now.

That's a lot of backpressure and plumbing shown. Its like trying to use a return pump to flush a toilet (No pun intended)
I'd either utilize two pumps, or reduce the plumbing and amount of un-necessary angles/elbows. The Various will be stronger from my use than the Vectra but ultimately- the plumbing needs to be reduced a tad
