I currently have a solenoid on my RODI unit that turns on when my float valve in my 45 gallon ATO reservoir gets low. I just made a switch from Kalk to regular fresh water. I used to fill up 5 gallon buckets at a time for Kalk. Now I have another solenoid attached into my reservoir which constantly fills my tank when top off is needed. My RODI reservoir has been running flawlessly for 6 months. However, now that my RODI is constantly fluctuating to fill up my reservoir I would like to make a change. I want my RODI to only activate between the hours of 8pm to 1am to fill up my reservoir. I only also want it to run during this time if my reservoir float switch is closed.

I set up a time to my programming but it still kicks on outside of the time because the switch is closed.

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If RODI_S CLOSED Then ON
Defer 000:10 Then ON
When On > 580:00 Then OFF

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Defer 000:10 Then ON
When On > 580:00 Then OFF
If time 01:01 To 19:59 Then Off

This last line tells it to stay off between 1a.m. and 8p.m.

Ok thank you. Will it automatically turn on between 8pm-1am or will it wait for the float switch during that time? I only want it to run if the switch is bbn open during that time.

It will only activate if the switch is closed the if time statement only tells it to stay off.
Also you might change the when on 580:00 to 4hours or something just over what it takes to fill your resivior.
