Looking at this picture the water flows from source to clear filter on right then up all the way through DI. First te I've ever gotten readings over 0tds. Can figure out why. Thoughts?

What is your tap water TDS, RO only TDS without the DI and final RO/DI TDS? How old are the sediment and carbon filters and what micron ranges are they? What is your water pressure and your water temperature? What is your exact measured waste ratio? When you make water DI you do so in nice big batches or in short spurts? How much treated water do you estimate you have made?

I will check the TDS for ro without DI tomorrow. The filters are brand new. I get about 4:1 ratio. Water pressure is 65 psi.
I generally do batches of 40 gallons. Water is about 60 degrees- can't control it as it is piped directly from water line going into water heater.

Colder water actually treats better so 60 is good.
Measure the waste ratio to make sure it is what you think it is, never assume anything.
Check your tap TDS and RO only TDS, you need both to determine the rejection rate of the membrane. This is very important since it is the membrane that does 90-98% of the work.
What filters did you replace and with what? If you replaced the DI, was it new, fresh and vacuum sealed moist or had you had it awhile? DI has a very short shelf life and must be stored properly.

Thanks. I will check TDS. I don't have a flow meter to check but I can pick one up.

The whole unit and all membranes are brand new. Vacuum sealed.

So sorry unever finished this thread. I am a genius (sarcasm). I had my plumber install while he was doing other work. Turns out he set up the system and never put the RO filter in the housing--- first thing I should checked. I am working in my cave and see it sitting there. Light bulbs went off :)

Did that burn your DI resin? At least you have a refillable DI cartridge so you can easily change out...

I don't think I ran enough water through. I am getting between 0 and 3 tds
