I set up my frag tank on the controller with a new PM1 and EB8. I am trying to control the temp on the frag tank. How do I program it? Every time I try it gives me an error. I know this will be simple after it is explained.lol

You will have to have a temp probe in each tank and set your set points in the dash board for each each heater Question, is everything part of same system? If so you will only need one heater or two depending on size and one probe because it will all be regulated in the sump. Hope this helps

He set up as a separate system so it needs all its own stuff.

To program your heater just use the heater wizard. But make sure the wizard is looking for the correct temp probe. For example one will be labeled tempx3 for one and the other tempx4 for the other.

Also, you said you got a separate pm1 and eb8. Might sound silly but did you get another temp probe and ph probe as well?

Ok so I think I got it. I named the temp probe on the frag tank Temp 1 and it seems to be working right now. I do have a separate temp and ph probe for the frag tank. I was just over thinking it. lol. If that doesn't work will have to try something else.

It'll be fine as long as it's reading the correct temp probe

I had named the probe (Frag temp) and it wouldn't let me program it. As soon as I changed it to Temp1 it started working right. So now I know.lol. Luckily I had set the temp on the heater to 80 before hand or I would have cooked the tank because it was using the probe in the reef.
