ok I'm not new to saltwater tanks but my sea horses are newer have had dwarfs for a long time now but yeah ... Now I have 4 full size. Bought a 47 gal tall tank and the wave maker ( jvp-110) with two is to sting for the poor babies I'm worried with the tank being 22" tall that they will not get enough air in the tank. I put an air stone in the center but everything I'm reading tells me no air bubbles.... Please help someone please

She will get a notice by my use of the "@" sign before her screen name.

Hi! I had a tall tank and I used an air pump and the tubing was open ended. This created large bubbles that the seahorses loved! I would also consider using a small nano power head in the bottom areas of the tank. I will see if I can get the video of my seahorses loving the bubbles. :)

My horses looked like they were getting smacked around something fierce by the bubbles..... yet every morning, that's where they went to "clean up".

We USED to say the microbubbles were dangerous, but that's a tad outdated now.
