help with set up mp40

i'm setting up 2 mp40 with apex on a 90 gallon sps tank. how much intensity should i put on those pump?

I run 2 mp10's on a 57 gal at around 50-60% of full power, using the ECOsmart mode. I would think that doubling the flow rate on a mp40 (vs. a 10) and adding about 30% to your overall tank volume, you ought to be fine running them in the 50% of max range. This is a good thing as they tend to be a bit noisy at higher intensity settings.

You should start out at 30-40%, look at your corals and see how they react.

If everything isn't blowing around (sand), then increase the intensity.

I'd run them full blast if your corals can handle it. Are they wireless? There are so many settings you can do it really needs to be adjusted differently for every tank.

Yup, 4' tank = full throttle

Agree. It needs to be adjusted for your tank. I have two on a 4X4X12 tank and have to keep them at 60-70%. No dead spots. lol

Full throttle for sps unless sand is kicking up then turn down a bit!
