Posting this for my good friend he got him 2 weeks ago and was eating great, fed Nori daily. Now he has the white blotches on his lower body and stopped eating. The very back of his body by his fin it looks like a white growth not sure if it was there or it's new growth. He's in QT ran 7 days of prazi in case it was flukes after FW dip. Could it be an infection? Any suggestions thankfully he's fat but it will not last if he's not eating at all. Any advice I can pass along would be great he has him alone in QT. Thanks guys!!

I'm sorry for your friend's fish. It's difficult to tell anything from the pictures. Pictures of fish out of the water won't tell us anything useful. If we could get a clear, close up of the fish while he's in the water, that may provide a little more info.

From your description, it sounds like there is lymph and maybe a bacterial infection going on here. Without better pictures, I wouldn't be comfortable giving a diagnosis.

Thanks for the reply let me see if he can take a better picture to send me and I will post it. IF it's a lymph what is treatment?

Ok I have these 2 pictures of him the day he took him out to put in QT and prior to the prazi treatment. He looks the same today maybe a little lighter in the bottom half. Hope these pictures help.

Did he see any flukes in the fw dip at all? He treated with prazi.... is he showing improvement since then? I don't see any lymph on his body or tail.

Fish are known to stop eating during prazipro treatment. Test QT for ammonia.

Ok so I got more information from my friend. He did the Prazi Treatment in his display tank and that's the last picture I posted. Here is his timeline of his fish:
Purchased online and did NOT Qt.
Ate fine first week and then started showing these white blotches and stopped eating so I suggested taking him out to QT and do a dip because it looked like flukes. He did not want to take him out it because he has too much LR so he did the 7 day treatment of Prazi in the DT. He did not see any improvement so he took him out and has him in his sump not QT so water quality is not a problem. My suggestion is maybe a second dose of Prazi because it looks like flukes but the FW dip made no difference when he did it yesterday. I'm stumped on what else to suggest to him. Thanks for the help.

That fish is thin, you can tell by the line from tail to the top of eye.Is the fish eating at all? have you tried brown or red nori?. You could start kanaplex and metro
