How's it going. My name is Scott, I use to have a 75g tank as my first one, that was already setup when I purchased, than upgraded to a 150g, and with the help of Angela, Bill, and some others on the board, sorry I forgot your names, been a few years, they helped set it up. I hated to have to get rid of it, but I moved, and couldnt bring it with me.
I am now living with my fiance in Antioch, and finally got her to let me get back into it, and get a 120g for me and her 2 sons. I bought a 120g tank with a home made stand that wasnt finished. It came with a light that has 2 2x250w mh, and 4 t5s, a uv, 2 korolias, heater, return pump, and a 55g for a sump. The tank is reef ready. The 55g sump is too wide, so I need to trade it for a smaller tank for sump. And I need to get a skimmer.
I have the tank and stand in the house, but I didnt like stand, so I started building one out of 2x4s, and 2x6s. I got the design from the other reef site. Its not finished, it needs the center support peice screwed in, and plywood cut, and trim put on. I am not a cabinet builder or close to one. So I am needing to see if anyone on is here is good with these, and would mind taking a look at what i have, and seeing if they could help me finish it, as Im just trying to make it simple, but sturdy with no issues.
I am also needing help with the plumbing of the tank, as in help with setting it up. Just want to get it setup right the first time, that way I can start putting water, rock, and sand in there to get it cycling, and hopefully ready before Christmas for the boys.
I also plan on joining the membership.
Thanks
Scott
