Hi everyone , I recently got a new to me 75g tank with a corner overflow.

my question is , is the stand im thinking of buying work with this?

I will have to cut out a square on top of the stand to accommodate the overflow plumbing

The stand should work since it’s rated for it even though I personally hate press wood around water. Could get the tank on the stand and mark where your overflow pipes are and use a hole saw to cut the holes for the pipes to the sump

Yes the tank is 48x18x24 the stand is 49x19x28.

I am hoping I just need to cut a corner for the overflow plumbing

Thanks! This won’t mess with the integrity of the stand ? I am planning on renting a hole saw lol

If cutting just holes instead of a bigger rectangle just make sure you account for bulkhead fittings

I’ve done it before with a 65g tank and a petco stand when I first got in the hobby

At that price I'd look at building one if feasible. You totally can cut a small area out of the top for overflow. Shouldn't cause any problems. Just dont make it too large and try to keep it circular if you can.

Thanks everyone for the help , this will be my first drilled tank so I’m definitely learning lol
I wish I could go custom, but looks are a huge factor for the stand
