Hello All. I'm new here at R2R and am excited to join your community. I need advice on my stocking order for my 125 with dual overflows and a 40 gallon sump. Tank has been cycling for 4 weeks and currently has 2 clowns. Plan on a FOWLR tank and currently have 100lbs of dry rock and two pieces of live rock out of my 30 nano reef. Where in my stocking do I go from here? Would like to have a nice selection of tangs, triggers, maybe a small school of something and. Would love to work a show fish in. Please help what's the best order to keep down stress and aggression.

I think the first step is creating a "dream" list of fish that you want to keep. From there, I would narrow it down to must have fish. Once that is decided, then I would start deciding on what fish to add. You will want to add the most aggressive fish last and the least aggressive first.

You just have to start window shopping! Look through liveaquaria.com (including the divers den, rare or unique fish can be in there), bluezooaquatics.com, saltwaterfish.com, pacificislandaquatics.com, reefs2go.com. I also purchased books on marine fish (and inverts) to find out my stock list. I also check the divers den every single day as they can get in some crazy fish I have never seen or heard of before. I know you said you are doing a FOWLR, another decision is whether to go peaceful/community or predator. From what you said it sounds like you want a community tank. Something I like about saltwaterfish.com is you can browse by requirements, which is a huge help since you do not need reef-safe (and usually that is what people look for so they can get corals) and you have a large tank so you can get larger fish.

Ok here is my wish list just need help with order to add to tank.

2 clowns already in tank
Heicochus Butterfly
Achilles Tang or Whitecheek tang
Yellow tang
Flame Angel
2-5 Chromis not a must
Can I have a large show angel like a queen or Annularis??
Long horn cow fish?

If you're set on the Achilles id get it next, it's skin is rather delicate and quarreling with other fish because he is the new guy can injure or kill him. That is my favorite fish buy they have a reputation of being extremely difficult to keep alive.
