im putting together my list of fish I'd like to add to my 250 over the course of 2 years or so. I want to start with the smaller fish first, but need some opinions.
I currently have a pair of clowns, and want to add
Firefish(pair?)
Midas Blenny
Royal gramma
And maybe a sand sifting goby (recommendations?)
Also a dotty back?

Later down the road, I think I could add a wrasse or two since they are more aggressive

I am also planning on adding a few tangs.
Naso, blue, clown, and either a purple or yellow(may try a trio)

Thoughts?

Unless they are a bonded pr firefish will kill one another.

I would add the wrasses before the Pseudochromis, as most wrasses are less aggressive than dottybacks.

I would recommend a more peaceful dottyback such as fridmani or elongatus.

Avoid sixline wrasses, or any others in the genus Pseudocheilinus. Stick with fairy, flasher, small Halichoeres, or even a leopard.

Get the naso tang before the other tangs, and get the clown tang last.

Hey LukeV! I like Royal Gramma!

So what you decided to have in your tank? ;))))
Have you changed your fish plan?
So far I want to stick with the list above, may not add the dottyback, but instead some anthias.
Not exactly sure if the firefish, royal gramma and Midas Blenny would get along. I know firefish are very peaceful, and grammas are relatively peaceful. Any suggestions for a sand sifting fish? I don't really want to add a yellow watchmen, as I'm already planning a few other fish with bright yellows in them.
