Help with strange snail

Has anyone ever seen a snail like this. Best pics I could get. It seems to have a Hairy flesh that comes out and wraps around most of the shell

To be honest, I dont think it is wrapping around the shell, looks more like a growth on the shell. Can you get more of a side shot?

I picked it off the glass and it all tucked away inside the shell. The shell was total white

the shell it is in, came in an empty shell pack I ordered for my crabs to use of needed

once the hairy flesh tucked inside the shell I held the shell on the glass and it came back out and wrapped at least 1/8 inch around then the head came out and attached to the glass

lights are currently off, I will see if I can find it again tomorrow and get more pics

I have been reefing for 10 years and never seen anything like this

Based on the shell I would say it is a Cowrie.

So, I would say you have a Cowrie, NICE!

I am in England so I can always get them. I have a tassle file fish that is good at shelling snails, it can't get in to cowries.
