help with testing

I'm a quadriplegic, so water testing is a difficult process of… Asking friends to do it. I'm looking into getting the Trident system from Apex, but apparently that's not coming out until next year (of course they've promised it the last 5 years or something) and I have no idea whether the system is competent. I've used Aquamedicwatertesting.com, but it gets expensive after a while, roughly $30 a test, but they hit basically every parameter.

I'd love to automate more testing, so any suggestions? Equipment, professional testing, etc.? thanks for any help you can offer.;Smuggrin

Only downsides 1) price 2) it doesnt monitor things like ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, or phosphate

upside it lets you know the status of everything and it sends you notifications no matter where you are. However my knowledge on the automated testing is pretty limited, hopefully someone else comes up with some other things.

thanks! I purchased it when I first set up my tank. It works very well and I'm waiting for the Trident automatic calcium/alkalinity/magnesium checker. For now, I guess I'm stuck with manual testing
