I have an overstocked 20g going right now and my 72g is now ready for the swap, I have all kinds of stuff 6 fish, dozen hermits,40 snails between the fuge and display, anemone, tube worms, about 20 corals and I don't even know what else between shrimp and crabs what is the easiest way to acclimate and transfer every body ? I had an idea to set up a small pump and one of my drip line to transfer the water from tank to tank I set the pump up to move the exact amount of water as my drip line will this work or is it not a good idea to do that please help I cant wait to finally upgrade ive had this tank for prob 3 months now between prep, money, and just letting it run

i transfered everything from a 75 to 120 by putting all my critters in buckets of water from the 75. Then transferred as much of the water from the 75 to the 120 and added more water to that. Worked fast and got the heater going in the 120 asap. Then acclimated everything into the new tank. I lost some peppermint shrimp but that was all.
I hope your move goes well.
Have fun reefing!
