About one and a half year ago my AC died on me in the heat of summer in Florida, it took 3 days to get my AC fix, temp in house was 95 degree at night...my tank was crazy stress and anemone plus a few fish died. I saw the gold torch and hammer coral release tons of milky substance into the water and a week or two later; on a old skeleton of a torch that was left in tank start having something growing out of it.
But what came out of the skeleton is nothing I ever had in the tank...
The hammer looks just like this
The torch was an Aussie gold
But the offspring....
How does this happen? This thing almost looks like a frogspawn but I have never purchase one. Is this a hammer coral mutation? Why does it look nothing like what I had before?
