Anyone know what this is on my trachy? It’s like a stringy web/slime. The trachy has seem to be ticked and receding. Thanks in advance

It gets brine daily when I feed and I spot feed every few days.

if I'm not mistaken mysis is much more nutritional than brine. maybe thats the problem? they really are pigs and will chow meaty food every food clams, shrimp, fish. Then again I've never seen anything like yours so maybe some weird infection.

Do you guys this I should pull it out and dip or should I start by changing its diet?

That retracting area appears to be at war with something in the tank. Are any of the nearby corals (or even far away sweeper tentacles) reaching out and stinging this one? Are their vermited snails putting out webs bothering this?

Improve the diet! There does not seem to be anything on this that a dip would help.

i would try different food like reef frenzy, mysis, reef roids.... every other day. also, make sure it doesn’t get too much light 100-150 max.
had similar problem and it’s pretty good right now. good luck

Thanks. I currently have 6 t5s(need to be replaced) and a kessil a360we that is right over it. Depth is 30”. No other coral near it.

Why does it have all those strange wiggly lines? Seems like a pest
